This post is a little late. I worked on it the other night and fell asleep, surprise, surprise! Anyway, better late than never, right?
Dave has been working for Phantom of the Opera since February. He was going to get me tickets to see it before Josiah was born, but then I went on bed rest so I couldn't go :( My Grandma and Norm were coming to visit and they were able to talk my mom into coming to. Grandma and Norm were going to see Phantom. Dave got me a babysitter. (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Huwe) and got tickets for my mom and I also. I was quite excited to go to the show...finally. Dave tells me stories about things going on at work so it was nice to see all that he's been talking about. He's on the stage for a few seconds here and there and I was one proud wife when I saw him up there! Afterward, he took us on a tour of the stage and behind the scenes. It is so amazing all the things that go on to make a show happen. I'm am so thankful to have gone. It was fun, so thanks Dave and Grandma (who graciously paid for my ticket, although she says "The Casino paid for it!")

7 Months
The little guy is growing way too fast! Yesterday he turned 7 months. It hardly seems possible.
What he's been up to:
*Eating, eating, and more eating. He loves food. This month he's had peas, acorn squash, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash.
*He's been sitting up a lot. I still keep the pillows behind him because he still falls back, but he's getting there.
* He's now a tummy sleeper.
* He likes to grab the spoon when I'm feeding him.
* He's always talking and babbling.
* He can't get enough of his sisters.
* His favorite toy is his doorway jumper.

Emma is always doing this kind of thing to the little guy.

Thanksgiving
We had a nice Thanksgiving. We always go my sister-in-law's house. My niece was just given a huge bag of dress up clothes. They all had a blast dressing up.
I've been wanted to do this Thanksgiving craft so we did it after we got home from eating. I love how big Abby is getting. I can just give her the stuff and she can glue it all on where it goes and write her name on her paper. She was so cute when I asked her what she was thankful for. She had a huge list! I asked Emma what she was thankful for. This is how it went:
Me: Emma, are you thankful for Daddy?
Emma: Yeah!
Me: Are you thankful for Abby?
Emma: Yeah!
You get the idea! I basically named all the things and her family that she so obviously loves.
If you click on the images below you can see them larger so you can read them.
Here's what I'm thankful for:
~A loving and gracious God who has saved me by the blood of Jesus.
~My amazing husband.
~That I was able to have three cute kiddos.
~My parents and Dave's parents. Both sets are still married and have been great examples of how important it is to love your spouse unconditionally.
~That I can stay at home with my kids and I don't have to send them to daycare.
~For church and the new friends I've made there.
~For old friends who just know you so well and love you still!
~For my new camera!
~That I get to start new Christmas traditions with my children.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!!

Josiah's Dedication
Yesterday we had Josiah's baby dedication at church. I love that they do baby dedications. It's a time to stand up before family and friends and make a promise that as we raise him we will teach him about the Lord and to live for Him. I think it's amazing the technology we have today. My parents weren't able to come, but they were able to watch in live on their computer.
Josiah was so cute when Pastor Shane came to pray for us. He kept giggling. I don't know know if it was all the lights or what, but after he prayed for us Josiah kept shaking his head. We had never seen him do that before. He's a silly little guy.

Lately
I loved blogging everyday last month for Down Syndrome Awareness Month. I was really going to try and keep up with it, but I haven't done such a great job! Emma going to school has really thrown me for a loop! The first week I wanted to cry when she left. Then the whole time she was gone I was wondering what she doing, pretty. Two and a half hours doesn't sound very long, until she's gone then it takes forever. It broke my heart when she left on the bus and cried. Well, I'm happy to report that on Wed & Thurs she did not cry! Yay! Here she is blowing kisses to us.
Josiah got his first two teeth this past week. In the picture, you can kind of see them on the bottom.
Abby won't sit still long enough for a picture, but I snuck this one.
I love cuddling at bedtime and so do the kiddos.

Silly Girl
The other day Emma was putting Josiah's clothes on. They are size 6 months. I couldn't believe that she could get into them. It looks like she is wearing capris.

Emma and the Bus
Emma rode the bus on Tuesday for the first time. This is her bus driver strapping her in for the first time.
We followed her to school.
We were hanging out waiting for the teachers to pick up the kids from the bus, without being seen.
Dave got out and took a picture of her teacher's assistant picking her up. I forgot the telephoto lens so it's kind of far away.
She's holding her hand on the way up the ramp. When she got to the top she started sobbing. It was so sad. I could hear her sobbing and I couldn't go comfort her.
Josiah has started trying to sit up lately. He's still wobbly, but he loves it.
We started up home school preschool again with Abby now that Emma is in school. She was working on the calendar.
