We Can Hardly Wait!
Right now my sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and nephew are in India! They are adopting a little girl and they went to pick her up...finally! We've been praying for them for forever. They picked the little girl they wanted to adopt over a year ago and so we've been praying for her and we can hardly wait to meet her. They've been updating us on their blog and emailing pictures of the first time they met her. It is so exciting. They'll be home a week from Monday! Yay! Of course, it will take her time to adjust to a new family, new country, new everything. We've had lots of discussions around our house about how the girls won't be able to play with her for awhile. So, we'll continue to pray for her and her transition and then the girls will go crazy playing with their new cousin!

Abby, The Smarty Pants
I cannot believe that Abigail is going to be 4 in May. She is getting so big. I love listening to her talk to Emma, especially when she's 'teaching' her new things. Last night she said, "Emma did you know that Jesus walked on water? I heard that in my class. Yeah, he did!" It was so adorable. (Now I'm bragging a little about her...) We picked her up from church on Sunday and there was a new lady working in her classroom. She said, "Wow, she is really smart. When does she turn 4? She is such a good listener and so well-behaved!" I was so proud! When we got in the car we started asking her about the lesson. She told us the story of Jesus meeting the woman at the well. Again, I was so proud! To be honest the millions of questions that she asks me each day start to wear on me, but then I remember that that is how she learns. I love to hear her curiosity about Jesus and God, it is so amazing!
I love this little (now big) cutie pie!

One Happy Mama
I am one happy Mama! #1 because I love seeing Emma walk around. #2 Because Abigail is so sweet and helps her go down the two little steps in our entry and encourages her as she does it. One of the nice things about Emma walking is being able to go the park. I love that she can play with the 'big kids'. She has always loved the park and I've taken her and let her crawl around and play, but it really grossed me out how filthy her pants and hands would get. (Sorry, I'm just being honest! I try not to freak out about germs, but that's one place I do.) Anyway, she still gets dirty, but she's walking now and that brings me so much joy! Here are pictures from two different trips to the park since she became my big walking girl!

God Effect
Dave has just begun filming a Christian Internet TV series called 'God Effect'. They began filming Sunday night. My Mother-in-Law watched the girls for a bit while my Father-in-Law and I went over to watch the filming. I love being a part of Dave's projects. I was only able to stay for an hour, but it is always so fun to watch.
Here is a picture of Dave and his friend Tony setting up the first shot.
I also took a picture of the clap board before the 1st shot.
I'm so excited for this project. I've read the script for the first season and it's amazing! If you like suspenseful shows like 'Lost' then you will definitely like it. I'll keep you posted on the progress, but just remember video production is a very long process so it will be awhile before you get to see the first episode.

My Hubby Spoils Me!
So, I've been wanting a big fancy shmancy SLR camera for FOREVER....guess what my really sweet husband surprised me with for Valentine's Day. Yep, he got me one! He's been wanting to get me one forever also, but has been practical so I've been patiently waiting for it. I love taking pictures. (if you haven't noticed) My dream is to take professional pictures. I always get so excited about really nice pictures, but there isn't much I can do with my little point 'n shoot camera! Anyway, I'm super excited to learn how to use the fancy shmancy camera. Hopefully by the time Baby Boy arrives I'll be able to do some cool stuff. The thing that I love about it right now is that there is no lag time between pictures. I can just snap a million in a row! (Ok maybe not a million, but a lot!) Anyway, here are a few pictures I took with my camera the first night.
The girls were watching a movie when I was playing with it so they were in a daze.
Emma was dancing to Veggie Tales.
My cute husband.
The self portrait is a little more difficult with the big camera!
Pretty girl!
Cute pie!
They are having fun as usual!
