Mother's Day

I love Mother's Day.  A day of no work, ahhh so nice.  Thanks to my wonderful husband I just get to relax and enjoy the day.  We went to church, lunch, and then home for a nap.  I love taking a nap, especially when I am not awakened by one of the kiddos!  Then we went to In 'N Out Burger to meet up with the whole family.  Dave's cousin's were in town so they joined us too.  It was super windy today.  So I couldn't take pictures outside, boo hoo.  That was sad for me, but I took some while at dinner.

 Josiah is just like Dave was when he was young....He cannot sit in a high chair, he is always standing up and people watching while he has a ton of food in his mouth.  Hence, the big 'ole cheeks. 

 Isn't my niece the cutest thing?  I love her laugh, even with food in her mouth!

Josiah's 1st Birthday

Why do they grow up so fast?  Josiah is getting so big and getting an even bigger personality.  His favorite thing to do in life...eat, eat, and eat some more.  He loves to wrestle with his sisters.  He has the cutest little jibber jabber talking that he does all the time.  He does NOT like frosting!  Here are some pictures from his party.

Easter

I couldn't be more blessed than to celebrate Resurrection Sunday with these little sweeties.  Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross for me.

Surprise Vacation

Dave was supposed to work in Phoenix for 3 days so we were just going to stay for the weekend and then drive back on Monday morning.  They asked him to stay longer to finish the job.  That was great because they only needed him to work Thursday.  So they paid for his hotel and we got to have a mini vacation at a super nice resort.  They had a really nice pool and lazy river.  Jill came over and went swimming with her kiddos.  It was so relaxing!  I wish I had a waterproof camera so I could take pictures of all the fun we had in the water!  There was a water slide that Abby couldn't get enough of.  Emma went on it too, but only with Dave.  We had relaxing vacation at the pool during the day and then we got to spend the evenings with my family.  It was the best surprise vacation!!

Dave put Josiah in the high chair while he ordered our food.  I guess the girls wanted to be like their brother so they got in one also.  Silly girls.

 I let Abby take pictures of the hotel.  It was so adorable.  

 She really is a good little photographer.

Emma is so precious.  She loves her Pooh Bear and brings him everywhere.

I think Abby would live in the water if you let her.  She wanted to stay in there all day.
